Not Interested

Ok, so there is a guy that I dated last year. This guy is the guy that I blame for my ruined life. Anyway, I liked him until I googled his name and found out all sorts of things about him and that he was back in prison. Anyway, he still tries to ask me out, but then he said he doesn't. Hmmm. For example, the other day he asked if I wanted to go to the movies. I said I couldn't because of work and school. Then, I got this text from him.

"Just so u don't get the wrong impression or anything, i truly care about u and sincerely want to b nothing more than friends!Yeah, I was head over heels for you u quite a while a long time ago, but I moved on. I have been in a serious relationship since Sept now. Anyway, just wanted to put all that out there so u didn't think I was trying to get back with u or anything. U prob get this  a lot more than u car to, but I honestly just thin you're an incredibly awesome, fun person to be around! U always make me smile too!:)"

Hmmm. Ok, my first thought was that if he is in a serious relationship, why does he need to contact me? Why did he tell me this? Since this text, he has sent me more texts asking me to go out and do things. Its weird. I was almost a year ago to the date that he was put back in prison. Oh well. It is what it is. I don't plan on ever seeing him again. He is just a part of my past. I am not interested in him at all. Anyway, I just thought I would update on him since so many people know his story.

Dating

Ok, so I know that I haven't post for a while, but its really not my fault. I have been really busy with work and school. I work about 30 hours a week and go to school full time so I don't have much time for extra things. Oh well. So, here is an update. I went out with a guy named Tim. We were supposed to eat at Texas Road House, but the wait was 90 minutes. So, we decided to go somewhere else. Oh, before I forget, I looked hot. I went with Michelle and I bought a new outfit. Its SO pretty. Anyway, we decided to get dinner somewhere else. We couldn't decide, and then I remembered this really good pizza place in Salt Lake that I had previously eaten at. So, we drove up there...but of course took the long way. He likes to drive. Anyway, dinner was good. We talked and I had a good time. Well, after dinner instead of taking me back to my car, we continued to drive around. I think we may have driven for about two hours. Good thing I am good at talking:), but actually, he did all the talking. He talked about his sister-in-law that he calls 'slut in law', talked about his ex girlfriends, his jobs, told me of his 'wifey account' that he had saved up so he will have money for his future wife, asked me how 'Megan Kelly' sounded and asked if I would want to drive a van around with EIGHT kids! Anyway, it wasn't really bad. We said our good byes and he kissed me on the cheek. Well, as it turns out, he had a GREAT time. He sent me 12 red roses to work that were GORGEOUS. He also said he loved me...but I am not sure that I read the text right, so who knows really. Anyway, we have gone out on one date since. Something that bothers me about guys asking me out is that they ask me out and then I have to plan it. LAME. Anyway, we are going to see a movie this weekend too. This may be the last date. After this date, I will decide if I want to keep seeing him or not.

I Killed a Deaf Man!

Ok, I should start off by saying that I didn't really kill a deaf man, but my mind told me that I did. So, the other day at school I went to the library to print off some things for class. I knew that I had a lot to print off, so I wanted to sit next to the printer. There was a computer open right next to the printer, but the chair was gone. I found the chair and told the guy I was going to take it, and I did. This guy didn't say anything to me, but that's ok, not a big deal. So, I pulled up my stuff and all of a sudden, there was a fart. Well, not one fart, but several farts. Of course I thought, 'serious? That's so embarrassing, but then I just went on my way. Then I started to hear some noises. I realized the guy that I took the chair from and that farted was DEAF! Anyway, I printed off the my jobs and turned to the printer and there was a lady signing to him. Now, its winter here, which means its freezing! This lady was wearing a pink tank top AND pink spandex shorts that were too tight. I was a little embarrassed for her. Anyway, I was standing by the printer and I started to realize that the print job was pretty big. I didn't know though AND my teacher wanted it printed off. So, the deaf guy comes up and starts grabbing my papers off the printer and saying (what I can gather) 'My Paper, My Paper'. I told him I was printing first....but then realized he couldn't hear me. He continued to do that and say (again, from what I can gather) that he was in trouble. He was getting very angry! I was getting scared, so I slowly walked away and then sat down. I turned off my computer and I left. I was SO embarrassed and angry that nobody would come and help me. As I was leaving school, there was a figure laying on the grass with police cars around it. I realized it was a person and as I turned the corner, I saw a car bumper just hanging out in the road. So, of course I thought it was the lady in pinks bumper and that was the deaf guy and she hit him with her car and now he is dead.
The next day at school, I told my professor. After I was done, this guy turned around and said, 'Oh, that's the crazy old deaf guy. He gets really mad and they have security come kick him out all the time. If you hang around the library a lot, you will see him get angry'. I was SO relieved to hear this. I am glad that I am not the only person to make this guy angry. I just hope that I see him again so I know for sure that he is in fact NOT dead!

Monster Trucks

I know that not everyone loves monster trucks like I do, but that is ok. This monster truck show was held at the Maverick Center in West Valley. I bought tickets to all three shows. The first show I went with my 'monster truck boyfriend' and that was probably my favorite. Not just because I went with someone that enjoys monster trucks like I do, but because we had AWESOME seats!  We sat in the center of the arena on the tenth row. Totally worth the $28.The show was great...but I think that even better than the monster trucks were the 'tough trucks'. I will try to post a video of that because it made me laugh SO hard. Basically it was just normal guys taking their trucks around a course with some jumps. Kind of hard to explain, but hopefully the video I will post later will give everyone some insight to it. Anyway, the first show was great.
The second show we sat on the upper level, but center arena. Chad, Jeni, Cody (his first ever show), Grayson, Michelle, Me, and my friends Joe and Emilio came to this show. I am sure this show would have been great, EXCEPT that Big Foots lost shock, Maverick Monster Trakkers transmission blew, Dare Devil broke and I don't know what happened to him. That left one truck left. Luckily, that truck (Ghost Ryder) didn't break...but had a close call when a Ford Bronco doing the 'tough truck' competition run into it. Luckily, it only hit the tire. So, I took pretty much everyone to that show...and it wasn't too great. A lot of the 'tough trucks' were damaged the night before so there were not too many of them the next day either. AND this show was going to be known for the Ed Beckly motorcycle jump. I guess he hasn't done this jump since 1994...so it was going to be huge. Well...he got hurt Friday afternoon during practice, so he was a no show:( I want to say he has a bruised kidney, bruised lung, and internal bleeding.
I was so tired by the time the third show came around, I didn't want to go, but I just had to. So, Grayson and I went to the last show. We got there as they started. We found our seats and were ready for the show to start. They fixed Big Foot and the Maverick Monster Trakker, however, Dare Devil was still down. This show started out awesome and then Grayson said, "I want to go home and see my mom". Well, when you have a three year old that wants to go home, you have to leave. So, we left at intermission. I was sad because Saturday night is always the best. My 'monster truck boyfriend' text me and said the show was pretty good, but his camera broke so he didn't get any pictures:(. So, all in all, Friday was my favorite, I really enjoyed Monster Trucks and I am excited for next month when they will be at the ESA for the 30th anniversary for Grave Digger!

This is the Dare Devil truck. It's a brand new truck. The driver that is in the purple and black owns this truck and Ghost Ryder. Each truck is worth 200K. Talk about expensive! He used to drive Ghost Ryder. Now he has this new truck that seemed pretty awesome until it broke. Anyway, the driver who drives Ghost Ryder was brand new...as in Friday night was his first time driving...so he was definitely the underdog.

This is the front of Big Foot. The driver is in the blue bent down. He was SUPER cute. I may start to follow him. I guess he broke his back a year ago. Anyway, the kid to the right that is cut off is my 'monster truck boyfriend'. I was too nervous to take his picture. He dressed like a cowboy. Ha ha...he is SO cute!
Another Big Foot picture. Just ignore the lady talking on her phone and the guy bending down.
These are all four trucks that raced.

Here is Monster Trakker and Ghost Ryder racing. Remember how I said that Ghost Ryder was a brand new driver?  Well, it showed. Don't judge. BUT, his was the only truck that didn't break.
 What a nice looking truck!
Really the show was for these two. This is before they raced. Big Foot won..but by inches. When I had the side by side picture of them, you couldn't see the Big Foot, just Monster Trakker.
 Our local hero truck.
Emilio said he wanted to dress 'white trash'. He looked more like a newspaper boy from "Newsies".
Grayson. He just loved everything. His hair is monster truck inspired. When he came out of the bathroom this guy said, 'looks like that hair cut is that of a future monster truck driver'. We call it his Grave Digger hair cut, even though its more like Mohawk Warrior.
This was Cody's first monster truck experience. He LOVES to watch them on the computer and I am slowly starting his monster truck collection. Anyway, he loved it!
We had to watch him closely so he wouldn't fall.
This was Saturday night. This race was pretty awesome. What nice trucks!
Then after the finish line, they were face to face and were revving their engines to each other. Pretty awesome if you are into monster trucks:)

Wiggle Cars

For Christmas this year, Santa brought Michelle's kids some wiggle cars. They are SO much fun. We raced them around the kitchen. The kids were really fast on them. We would push each other over. One time Michelle passed me and flipped me off...like if we were really driving. Wiggle cars are awesome!

 My sister is SO awesome!
 Chad....what a nerd.
 Michelle and Boston.
We would crash a lot...but it was fun.

Phone Guy

So, here is another story. Ha ha...I am full of them. So, the other night I was supposed to go out with the guy that called me ALL the time. I mean, he quit calling for a while and I thought he got the hint because I didn't answer and I didn't call him back. Well, he started calling again and in his voice message he left his number. Oh dear. Hmmm....now that I am writing this post, I don't know if I should continue because it makes me sound like a "B" word. Woops. So...don't judge me on this one. Anyway, we were going to meet up in SLC. Earlier that day I got a text from one of my good friends asking if they could bribe me to come to their house and he would have a 12 pack of Dr Pepper and make me dinner. Well...not only did the bribe work, I love spending time with them and being at their house....so I said if my date didn't work out, I would go over. Anyway, I didn't want to go out with this guy, but I told him I would. Oh, here is a side note. My niece, Madison, had put up fliers around the house that said, 'come see Madison with your problems. 5 cents." and then on the paper was another paper that said, 'bring this flier in for a discount'. So, I went to Madison with my problems. I told her that there is a boy that keeps asking me out and if I should ignore him or just tell him. This was her response, "if you don't tell him, we wont ever know. If you do tell him, you will hurt his feelings, so have someone else tell him". Smart words coming from a seven year old. Anyway, on my way to Salt Lake, I sent him a text (while not driving of course because that is illegal) and told him I was close. He sent me a text and said he was close too. So, I found a spot that wasn't a spot but I parked there because the parking lot was packed!! I sent him a text and said I was there...and I didn't hear anything from him. I am not 100% sure what he drives, but I think I know. Anyway, I told my one friend if this boy didn't show up at a certain time, I would go have dinner with him and his brother (who happens to be the boy I love from my previous bar story). So, I think I see him drive up, but the way my car was parked, I was looking out at the road and not the parking lot. So, he called me but then it hung up. So, I called him and it went to voice mail twice. Well, I know that he has a stupid phone that doesn't work...so I decided to send him a text saying I waited for twenty minutes and called him and it went to voice mail, so I left. I went to my friends house (and yes, I did feel guilty), This guy called me later that night and he kept apologizing saying his phone died and he went into the restaurant twice and walked the parking lot and didn't find me. Bless his heart. He felt SO bad...and he wanted me to know that he didn't stand me up and he had no intention of standing me up. So, I went and I waited and I left. So, really, I stood him up, but not really. Yeah, this story does make me sound like a B word. Woops. Anyway, this is an update about him. Bless his heart. We are supposed to 'hang out' this week maybe...but I am also meeting my monster truck boyfriend at the Maverick Center to buy monster truck tickets too. This may be a busy week for me!

New Years Kiss

So, this New Years was not at all what I expected. I don't even know really where to begin....so if this doesn't make sense....then too bad. Ha ha. So, there is this guy that I just love. We are not dating or anything, I just love him. I was hoping he would invite me to play with him on New Years so I could get a New Years kiss. Well, he invited me. I was SO excited. So, my friend Shelby and I went with him and his friends to a place called La Cai. Its a Chinese restaurant. It was pretty good. After, we went to a bar called the Republican. It was a good time. Well, while I was there, I got a text from my monster truck boyfriend. Ok, he is not my boyfriend, I just call him that because we did date for a minute or two, but then he thought we should just be friends. Anyway, we both like monster trucks. So, he asked me to go to a show with him next week with him and I just loved it. I asked him what he was doing for New Years and he was at a 'bull wars' competition in Ogden. The ironic thing about that was that Shelby wanted to go to that, but I wanted to play with my lover to get my kiss. Anyway, I told him I am planning to go to the rodeo later this month. Maybe he could be my monster truck boyfriend AND my rodeo boyfriend. He is a cute kid, shy, but cute.
Anyway, so we are just at the bar and this kid walks in and I thought to myself "he looks like a little innocent boy" and didn't think anything of it. As the night went on, I looked at him again and realized we grew up together and went to school together. Anyway, we ended up talking and as it turns out...he loves me. He has had a crush on me since middle school. He went to church and seminary to impress me, so him seeing me at the bar was one of his fantasy's about me coming true. He ended up staying there most of the night and was very cozy as in he liked to be close and kept putting his arm around me. My major thought of the night was, 'how am I going to get my New Years Kiss now?" The reason I was thinking this was because there was the boy I came with that didn't really talk to me after my childhood friend showed up and so I stuck between these two guys. Well...it was getting close to mid-night and I didn't know what was going to happen....so I just went to the bathroom. I listened to everyone count down and cheer...all from the bathroom at a bar. So, I didn't get my New Years Kiss;( However, it was a very eventful night and one that I will never forget!!!
