This last weekend was the Monster Jam World Finals in Las Vegas. It was SO much fun. This year Michelle, Grayson, Chad, Cody, and I went. We drove down Thursday. We got to our hotel late. We stayed at Sams Town, We were all tired and frustrated, we couldn't find the hotel from the casino AND they didn't reserve us two beds like we asked. It wasn't an enjoyable first night...but it did get better. Friday Michelle woke everyone up really early. She was excited. We had breakfast and then headed over to Sam Boyd Stadium. We had to wait for 45 minutes for them to let us in because we were early...but so were HUNDREDS of other people. They said about 7500 people were going to be there on Friday and Saturday they were going to add 12000 more. So...it just goes to show you that monster trucks are cool after all:) Anyway, the first thing we did was ride the monster trucks. They are free on Friday, but cost $10 on Saturday. The line is usually long, so we rode them first:) We did some other activities that they had set up. We then ate lunch and after lunch we walked the track with MTB and his dad. It was about 3 pm this time and we hadn't even made it into see the drivers yet! There was so much to do! Anyway, we met some drivers and then at five we went into the stadium to watch the qualifying races and the young guns shoot out. This would have normally been very enjoyable, but this girl behind us was pretty annoying. I wanted to punch her in the face. Oh well, it was a good show anyway. When it was over we went back to the hotel. Chad, Cody, MTB, his dad, and I watched a water show in our hotel that was pretty awesome. Then, we went to bed. Saturday was a calmer day. We went to breakfast with my uncle from PA that was there for a tournament. It was fun. He made the comment that even though we are family, we are strangers. This is very true. We only see him every few years...but that didn't stop him from telling me my cleavage looked like a plumbers crack, and then he asked if we parked the car there as well. Hmmm...awkward. After that, I took Cody upstairs and we took a nap and Michelle, Gray, and Chad went to the Bass Pro Shop. When they came back, we went to Sam Boyd Stadium. We met some other drivers, watched the parade, and of course watched the show:) It was pretty much amazing. I know most people don't care about monster trucks, so I won't say much but that they do back-flips, front-flips, ariels, and double back-flips. They also catch on fire and get stuck in storage containers. It was a pretty bad ass show. We got back to the hotel around mid-night. Michelle wanted to gamble and since we didn't know what we were doing, I asked MTB to come and so the three of us gambled. I took $16 and lost it. Ha ha..oh well. I learned how to play Black Jack and I liked it. That's pretty much the weekend in a nut shell. One more year:)
Chad and Cody got matching tattoos. Gray got a dinosaur and I got a the monster energy drink symbol. Once again...free on Friday:)
This is our crew. Chad and Cody. Michelle and Gray. And me with MTB taking the picture.
Everyone loved the green mo-hawks! There is actually a camera on them right here...so in May...they may be on the Speed Channel when they show the world finals.
On one of the monster truck rides, Gray got to sit in the front. The driver was very nice. In this picture, he took the steering wheel off the truck while we were going and asked Gray if he wanted to drive!

So, this year was a big year for Grave Digger fans because it was the 30th anniversary. We were eating our free lunch and this guy gave Gray this Grave Digger truck. This truck isn't your plastic truck, but metal and special tires. THEN they gave us two tickets to meet Grave Digger. Now, for most drivers you just stand in line, but with Grave Digger, there was a cap and once the cap was met, they gave tickets out to a certain amount of people to meet Grave Digger. Well...they gave us their tickets as well. They were nice guys.
I just saw this kids....I want one:)

Just let it happen.
Don't judge.
This is probably my favorite picture. Cody LOVED watching the parade of monster trucks. It was a good time:)
